Ho. Lee. Fuchs... Mr. "shat from Hephaestus's flaming bunghole" himself.

Long time, man!

If you want vari-voltage (like the Fisty) and don't mind paying out the nose for all the bells & whistles, look for the Hana or anything with the DNA chips.

If you want something cheaper, check some of the Chinese clones.

Fasttech and 101vape are some fairly decent websites for clones.

If you want to go full-retard-cloud-chasing, the mechs and rebuildables are now the 'rage...'

Just like the picture, the rest of what you said is Greek to me :)

I want something variable but simple that works every time you want it to. Big battery is a plus.

The DNA chips are the newest generation varible voltage mods - think of the fistpack as their great-grandfather in terms of technology advancement.

Expect to pay through the nose for authentic ones.  You can get cheaper versions out of China, but not as reliable.

There are lesser variable voltage mods out there, the grandfather of the fistpack, such as the Vamo, Lavatube, and Provari.  Vamo and Lavatube are cheaper, the Provari is still a lot of people's go-to mod-that-will-not-die.

If you want to play with rewiring and rewickng your own atomizers, there's that, too.  Some peeps have gone back to a 3.7v battery by wiring their own atomizers at insanely low ohms...were you around when the low-rez attys hit the scene?  Same thing, next generation, but you don't buy them built - you buy a deck, wire, and wicking materials and build them yourself.  These are the cloud-chasers - a low-ohm or sub-ohm coil with high VG juice will make some really hot, thick clouds.

do some Google searches...and some youtube searches.   Lots of info out there, and the tech has jumped dramatically.

Some suggested keywords:

Kayfun
Provari
Vamo
RBA

Rip Trippers on Youtube has a lot of coil-building tutorials (if you want to try building your own), but he's kinda weird.

Here's the modern equivalent of a fistpack that I built a couple of weeks ago:

My hands are no longer steady enough for anything requiring a modicum of dexterity,  so forget building anything myself.

What's the general opinion of this iTaste thing I was just reading about?

Which Itaste thing?

The tubes are sorta good, but the box is a shit device. It works fine but it doesn't turn up high enough.

Innokin iTaste  VV 3.0 or 134 mod.

I must confess, it's been a long time since my electronics classes, and don't have a grasp on VV vs VW.
