Eleaf iStick Pico Starter Kit Review
« on: April 12, 2017, 02:14:39 AM »
The Eleaf iStick is one of the most well -known brand names in the world of vaping, and for good reason. Mods in this iconic series have always been user-friendly, reliable and, perhaps most importantly, very affordable. Today, let's take a deep review on the Eleaf iStick Pico Starter Kit.
The Eleaf iStick Pico is a petite yet powerful box mod that will surprise the hell out of you. Powered by a single, replaceable, 18650 hi-amp battery (25a and above) that is accessed by a small, round, screw top cap on the right side of the device, is powerful enough to provide the user with huge lung hits with the included Melo III Mini sub-ohm tank.

The Eleaf iStick Pico Kits 75w kit comes in a white cardboard box with an image of the device on the front and a scratch-off authentication sticker on the back. The foam insert on the upper level contains your mod and the Melo 3 Mini tank, each in individual slots. Underneath the foam layer, there’s a cardboard cover hiding four spare O-rings (for various spots on the tank), a USB charging cable, a spare 0.5 ohm coil (along with the 0.3 ohm one pre-installed in the tank) and manuals for both the mod and the tank.

The most obvious thing about this device is the size. It really is incredibly small so would be ideal for people who are fed up with bulky mods or if they simply need something discrete to carry around with them. You can easily fit this device in the pocket of your jeans!
The 510 pin is spring-loaded and has stainless steel threading. I had absolutely no issues at all getting atomizers to sit flush with this device. The battery compartment is quite unique and to get access to it you need to unscrew the cap on the top of the mod. Then you simply put in a battery - positive side down - before screwing the cap back on. Venting is provided by eight holes in the base of the device.

The screen is the same as that of other iSticks, small but informative enough. Useful information is clearly presented. However, the brightness is not adjustable and it is though perfect indoors but almost unreadable in sunlight. On my specimen, the screen is slightly offset to the left, it is convenient for use by a right-handed but not for a left-handed. I can not tell you if it is wanted or not.
Also included in the full kit is a Melo III Mini tank to perfectly match with the Pico. The 2mL tank can be easily filled via the top cap and adjustable airflow is controlled at the bottom of the unit. Although simple, the Melo III provides enough vapor and flavor with the EC Heads to make this your daily driver.

In conclusion, The Eleaf Pico 75W Kit utilizes a single 18650 battery that can be accessed through the top battery screw top, it boasts several firing modes, fires up to 75 watts, features temperature control for vaping perfection, and the Pico is firmware upgradeable so that it constantly stays up to date!
