Eleaf Melo 300 vs SMOK TFV12
« on: March 30, 2017, 05:26:55 AM »
Today, let's take a look at the SMOK TFV12 SUB ohm TANK and Eleaf Melo 300 SUB ohm Tank. Both of them is the latest high powered tanks from two top manufacturers. The Melo 300 is one of the latest tanks in the race for the highest powered tank. These recent high powered tanks include the Smok TFV12, the IJOY MAXO tank, the Smkon KUMO, and a few other very high wattage tanks.

ELEAF MELO 300 Tank
The Eleaf Melo 300 features a new powerful ES Sextuple-0.17ohm Head that consists of six coils and is rated at an ultra high power of 100-300W for huge vapor production. The retractable top fill system makes it really easy to fill the tank. You just need to slide the drip tip back and it reveals the fill port. The airflow can easily be adjusted by turning the control ring with knurled design. In addition, the MELO 300 comes in two kinds of e-liquid capacity for you to choose from: 3.5ml type and 6.5ml type.

SMOK TFV12 Tank
The SMOK TFV12 Cloud Beast King Tank emulates the undisputed achievement in cloud-chasing technology by SMOKTech, presenting a powerful twelve coil cylinder within a performance-grade apparatus that transcends the Sub-Ohm Tank platform.  Continuing the legacy of crafting high-caliber system with unrivaled vapor production of the TFV8 Cloud Beast, the SMOK TFV12 Sub-Ohm Tank is the avant-garde in streamlined design, primed for the ultra-performance atomizing process starting at its core.

A fault-tolerant (type stainless steel and glass)
free from leaks
available in two versions - with attached or without base RBA
top fill (pop-top cap as predecessors)

Summary
For me this is a good high-powered tank but it cannot be put on the same category as the Melo 300 by Eleaf and TFV12 by Smok. It is still a nice tank for cloud enthusiast. Who knows, maybe one of these days they will create a coil head with 12 coils for this tank but for now Melo 300 can sit beside TFV12 and Maxo V12.
