Heh.  Agreed.  I asked warb if his Ubuntu phone was working out, he didn't reply yet.  I'd like to at least test drive one.  I'd like true choice of what to run or not, and the ability to run whatever OS is available.  That's one of the things that pisses me off about iOS, without jailbreaking you can't even delete some of their faget apps.  And the jailbreaks do not inspire much confidence, in my opinion.  But I've only done it on an old cracked one, and never really tried to use it day to day either.

I've never really ran it unjailbreaked, it's the first thing I do when I unwrap an iPhone.

jailbreaking def improves them.  First thing I do when I open up a new droid is root it... Dosent matter what o.s. ya have, the carriers still load them up with bloat, and refuse to let you delete it.

I tried the ubuntu os on my droid a while back... it was neat, but not yet ready for full blown daily use. Havent really seen much progress on it for my device yet.

I'll have to agree with 420. It's cool as shit the way you navigate through it, but a few things are still not ironed out. I put Android back on until they release a final version.

What Kase said was interesting to me, that he'd jailbroke every one of his iphones the day he got it and never had trouble.  Perhaps I should root my old POS 4 and see if I can find its hurrythefuckup setting.

It dont work that way...  The 4 is limited, and outdated, regardless of jailbreaking...

In other words y'all are scared of command lines.  Fair enough.  I'm not.  Is there a benchmark for iphones, so I can make y'all eat crow if I can make the fucker 'snap'?

My 4 sucked dick compared to the 5.  Not sure any amount of tweaking will speed it up after you update it to the latest OS it will handle. That's what killed it.  On the old OS it was fine but software stopped supporting that shit and wouldn't let you update unless you updated.

Also, I jailbreak on the first date too.  I'm a whore like Kase.
No oral or dirty trombone and I am in.
I will give you a taint massage though.
