I rock the chrome on my laptop, but in reality my 5 year old iPhone, with it's OS bloat cannot handle.  Is Ubuntu phone kicking it for you warb?

I used to love chrome until it got this mega delay when typing in the address bar. That's fixed now, but I'm already used to Firefox, so fuck it.

No it's still has a delay.....

IDK.. I got no problems with chrome unless I have like 10 webpages open at once.  once a month, it might start to bog down a bit, so I clear my cookies, cache, and history, and its back to normal.

I also clear the cache and dalvik cache of my phone about once a month, which keeps it running fast and smooth.

Never have any issues with chrome on my pc....  Dont think I've even cleared the history and shit in months...

Chrome is a memory hogging beotch even on Ubuntu, with multiple tabs, I usually have 7/10 open, I had issues at 4gig memory, well I use a bunch for other stuff anyway.  Since I went 16 gig memory I'm loving it again.  On old iphone 4, no go.

I only have 4 gig on my pc, and still no prob... usually at least 5 or 6 windows open at a time.

I think my phone has 3 gigs of ram, so maybe thats why chrome works ok on it

3 gigs on your phone, there ya go.  I'm being stubborn on upgrading my phone.  Voice works great and I don't do a lot else.  A few one liner emails, an occasional google, take bad pictures sometimes, run tapacrap when I'm idle waiting on something\somebody, take some brief notes.

Yup.  I'm getting off iphone when I buy a new one I think, just not buying shit I don't need right now.

My daughter has one too.  I think she likes it.  But she's still a tech tard, even though she grew up with computers.  Refuses to understand stuff like, yeah, when you start that computer and try to do stuff, and there's 17 things asking you if they can update, maybe, just maybe you should let at least some of them update instead of just ignoring it, typing a fucking paper in a retarded web app and losing the whole thing.  Pisses me off.
